Between 1913 (when Boston College moved to Chestnut Hill) and 1938, the Eagles played most of their home games on campus. However, to accommodate the larger crowds Holy Cross attracted, that game was often played at larger venues, with the 1916 matchup taking place at the newly constructed Fenway Park (left). The 1916 game broke a Holy Cross winning streak of seven games, the longest the Crusaders would have against Boston College.
