CLIBOC : Chinese linguistics bibliography on computer / compiled by William S.-Y. Wang and Anatole Lyovin.

This bibliography, compiled and computerized at the Unversity of California, Berkeley, is designed to provide a comprehensive bibliography of materials in Chinese linguistics which can readily be expanded as the amount of material increases. The present edition contains 3,000 entries covering work published before the end of 1967. The scope is linguistic studies of Chinese and related languages as well as general works in fields such as orthography and semantics which have some relevance to Chinese linguistics. Short abstracts are supplied for many items. Chinese entries appear in the "pin yin" romanization system in the main entry section and in Chinese logographs in a separate section. Entries are arranged alphabetically by author, and a topical index is appended. The introduction gives a brief history of the CLIBOC project and discusses the computer program used.
