No author, date or place of publication. Accordion-folded pages with color images in European fashion; facing pages in Chinese. Text appears to be adapted from Aleni's Life of Christ. Weathered boards, some detached sections, but images and text are bright and colorful.

Our book has a relationship to the collection of texts bound together with the call number Chinois 6814 at the BnF. Images there show figures dressed in Qing-era garb, whereas in our book, the outfits have been updated to reflect Republican fashion. We thus conjecture that our book was published after 1911. With thanks to Jie Zhang (Arizona State University, 2025).

是書本封面大理石花紋樣式，上貼書名箋條，纈紙下方有「No.56」字樣。內每開版式為左文右圖，共20開20張圖。每頁為一主題，分為位三體一、主造乾坤、書教淵源、頒布十誡、救世誕生、妙齡養晦、言坊行表、教澤無疆、顯奇立跡、受難贖人（2幅）、十字寵勳、建立聖教、至真聖教、天堂永在、善終永存地獄、審判萬民眾生無常。圖依據德國藝術家、木刻大師Julius Schnorr von Carolsfeld（1794-1872）所刻聖經版畫刻製。此書印製開本比之同類型書籍闊大，公開資料查詢未見著錄。土山灣印書館，有上海徐家匯天主教堂於1874年設立，主要印製教會宣傳品。其最早將石印術、珂羅版、照相銅鋅版設備技術引進上海。是近代中國中西文化交流中印刷的重要機構。 作者簡介：土山灣印書館，有上海徐家匯天主教堂於1874年設立，主要印製教會宣傳品。其最早將石印術、珂羅版、照相銅鋅版設備技術引進上海。是近代中國中西文化交流中印刷的重要機構。
