Firmin Sen (+ 17.1.1929)", referring to Firminus Jinbiao Shen 沈錦標, 1845-1929. Our copy carries the seal of the Bibliotheca novitiatus, Zi-ka-wei 耶穌會神學院圖[?] 徐家匯 Judging by the preface, our book is based on notes taken during a retreat, probably lectures given by Sen. The material is said to ultimately go back to Angelo Zottoli 晁德蒞, 1826-1902. Acquired through purchase in 2026. |
