NoteWending shuxiang 文定書香 / by Xu Guangqi 徐光啟, 1562-1633.

A special boxed reproduction produced on the occasion of the 2008 Olympics. Case, with wooden front, consists of 1) two traditionally-bound volumes containing reproductions of manuscript copies of "Nongzheng quanshu 農政全書" and of "Xu Guangqi jiashu 徐光啓家書" respectively; 2) a miniature wooden fan; and 3) a commemorative wooden medallion featuring an engraving consisting of a portrait of Xu Guangqi alongside images of him posing with Matteo Ricci, of a starry night sky with asterism and astronomical implements, of his writings, and of a city wall.

Note that Wending 文定 is Xu's 諡號.
