Note | JapSin I, 2 Kongzi jiayu 孔子家語 Annotated by Wang Su 王肅 (195–256). Revised by Chen Jiru 陳繼儒 (1558–1639), 陳眉公先生重訂; edited by Yang Jingquan 楊敬泉. Ten juan in four volumes. Bamboo paper; in good condition. The first folio is stamped with a red seal in seal characters: Jigu zhai 稽古齊. The last folio of juan 10 has two lines which give the date of publication (jiayin 甲寅 refers to 1554, Jiajing 33) and the names of the calligrapher Wu Shiyong) and the carver of the wooden blocks (Huang Zhouxian): 終歲甲寅端陽望吳時用書黃周賢金覽刻. There are nine columns on each half folio and sixteen characters in each column. The Naikaku Bunko owns a Qing reprint of a Ming edition (10 quan, 4 ce), collated by the Jiguge of Mao Jin (NBC, p. 163). Cf. Wylie, p. 82.
