3 archival boxes mostly containing photographic, medium-format contact prints, with some related letters, news clippings, and pamphlets. In a letter to Edward Malatesta, S. J. (Ma Aide 馬愛德), dated July 30, 1985, in Guam (Box 1, Item 1.1), Foley writes that he is donating his collection of 85.000 photographic negatives covering American Jesuits between 1951 and 1973, in addition to photos of a few famous Chinese individuals. We assume that the contact prints were made on the basis of these negatives. The negatives themselves are not catalogued as part of this collection.

Prints on stiff backing from scans of original photographic prints held by the Society of Jesus, West Province. The scans were somewhat cropped and straightened prior to printing.

The earliest dated photograph among the prints is from 1937 and the latest from 1948.
