Note | Monumenta Serica : journal of Oriental studies of the Catholic University of Peking. / Editor : F. X. Biallas , S.V.D. ; Rudolph Rahmann, S.V.D. These Monumenta Serica editions are historically significant. They were given to Anthony Clark by the Irish Jesuits in Hong Kong; these were the volumes held in their house library, and were used by the Jesuits in their own studies about China. The volumes bear the seal of the Hong Kong Society of Jesus community, which was located at Ricci Hall. Also there is some ephemera inside the volumes. Semiannual for volumes I-IV, with two fascicles to a bound volume. Volumes V and VI have blank spines. Also included is a separate paper copy of Volume I Fascicle I with damaged binding.
