從北京大學與基督宗教的互動關係史來看，北大學生對基督宗教的態度在中國頗具示範性。本文採用非概率抽樣的方法探索性地調查了當今的北大學生對基督宗教的態度。從整體趨勢上看，北大學生目前對基督宗教持一種中性、客觀而謹慎的態度。大部分北大學生對基督宗教略有所知，身邊有信徒的學生更傾向于對基督宗教比較瞭解，而學生對基督宗教瞭解得越多，越可能對基督宗教持更積極正面的看法。他們瞭解基督宗教的主要途徑是大眾文化的影響（比如美劇、聖誕促銷等）、閱讀相關書籍以及與師友閒聊；隨著學生們對基督宗教瞭解的深入，信徒的傳授日益重要。信徒的主動傳教、依託社會關係網路即師友、家人等的傳播是基督宗教在大學生群體中傳播的一個主要途徑。

The attitude of Peking University students towards Christianity has been quite influential in China. Using non-probability sampling, the authors did an exploratory survey of the current attitudes of Peking University students towards Christianity. Overall they hold a neutral, objective and cautious view of Christianity. Most of them know a little about Christianity, and those who had Christian neighbours were more likely to be familiar with the religion. As they learn more about Christianity, they are likely to have a more positive attitude toward it. The main channels for them to get to know about Christianity are the mass media, reading and chatting with teachers or friends. As these students know more about Christianity, Christian preaching gradually becomes an important channel for them to learn more. [CEPS ID 1778516]
