American voters have only once selected a non-Protestant to serve in the nation's highest office. In a year in which a Mormon may for the first time become a major-party presidential candidate, this panel discussion will consider the possibility of a Mormon presidency, explore questions about religious tests and high office, and discuss attitudes towards the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS).

Kristine Haglund, editor of Dialogue: A Journal of Mormon Thought and contributor to By Common Consent, a Mormon blog, whose research interests include the history of women and children in the LDS Church
