The School of Theology and Ministry officially marked its 10th anniversary on Thursday, September 20. The daylong celebration began with a Mass in St. Ignatius Church, concelebrated by Boston College President William P. Leahy, S.J., STM Dean Thomas Stegman, S.J., and Timothy Kesicki, S.J., president of the Jesuit Conference of Canada and the United States. Kevin Oodo, S.J., M.Div '18, served as deacon for the Mass. It continued through the early evening, when STM alumnus, best-selling author, and America editor at large James Martin, S.J., M.Div. '98, Th.M. '99, drew a capacity crowd to Robsham Theater to hear him deliver the inaugural Daniel J. Harrington, S.J., Alumni Lecture. Following the lecture, Fr. Martin accepted the STM's first Alumni
