“My First 100 Days in the
Boston Public Schools”

Tommy Chang
Superintendent, Boston Public Schools

Tuesday, March 22, 2016, 4:30p.m. Yawkey Center Murray Room

Boston Public Schools Superintendent Tommy Chang and a transition team visited nearly 30 schools and met with some 1,500 community members before putting in place a plan for Chang’s first 100 days in his new position. He will talk about the goals that he and his team set, which include fostering high achievement among all youth; innovating and transforming teaching and learning; providing access to high-quality schools in proximity to each child’s home; and empowering and enhancing communication, coordination, and accountability among school leaders, teachers, staff, families, and community members.

Following the keynote address, Lynch School community members will offer brief comments and kick off the question-and-answer session.
