![]() It is with bittersweet feelings that I write to inform you that as of March 1, 2011, I will be stepping down as the dean of the Lynch School of Education to pursue the opportunity to lead Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia as the school's 27th president. I joined the Lynch School community in 1991 as a young faculty member, and it has been a remarkable twenty years. I am so proud to have been the dean of the Lynch School and especially grateful for the dedication and support that our alumni and friends of the School have shown throughout my tenure. One of my greatest joys as dean has been to see that our alumni embody the mission and vision of the Lynch School. Be assured that you are with me in my memories as I begin this new and challenging chapter of my life as an educator and Jesuit priest, and you will be in my prayers always.
