Lorna Finnegan, Ph.D., RN, FAAN, will discuss the role that strong leadership plays in how nurses guide and improve a rapidly changing health care system. The future of nursing demands the knowledge, skills, and experience of expert clinicians. Together with other health professionals, nurses can lead effectively to produce the best possible patient outcomes, deliver high-quality care, and work collaboratively throughout the system.

Lecture attendees receive 1.25 contact hours for nursing continuing education. These may be used for RN license renewal in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and in other states where they are accepted.
