Connell School Alumni for a Presentation and Dean's Reception


You are invited to join Connell School alumni, faculty, and friends for the presentation of the
Third Annual Dean Rita P. Kelleher Award, followed by a panel discussion and reception Friday, June 3, 2011, 2:00–4:00 p.m. Higgins Hall 300, Boston College
	Boston College Board of Trustees Vice Chair Kathleen McGillycuddy, NC '71, will present the Dean Kelleher Award to CSON alumna Ann Riley Finck '66, who will participate in a panel discussion, Neurologic Care Nursing: Improving the Quality of Life and Functionality of Patients and Families Facing Neurological Conditions. Ms. Finck; Shaun Golden, M.S. '11; Cathy St. Pierre, Ph.D. '95; and Daniel Triggs, M.S. '11, will offer their experiences and perspectives on caring for patients with traumatic brain injuries and other neurological conditions. These nursing leaders will address care for patients affected by brain or spinal cord neoplasm, head or spinal cord trauma, seizures, or cerebral vascular conditions. Boston College Magazine Editor Ben Birnbaum will serve as moderator. A reception in Higgins Hall atrium will follow. The Kelleher Award presentation, panel discussion, and reception are free of charge to all School of Nursing alumni, but require an RSVP.
