Dear Colleague, Thank you in advance for your willingness to help me and the faculty of the William F. Connell School of Nursing as we search for a dynamic new Associate Dean of Graduate Programs. We are seeking a scholar, researcher, clinician, and able administrator who will guide our graduate education programs (please see www.bc.edu/csongrad for the list of graduate specialties) and lead our expanding doctoral program. The new associate dean will manage interdisciplinary dual-degree programs, accelerate our international education efforts, and encourage all students' academic advancement. Now ranked 21st among schools of nursing by US News & World Report, the Connell School each year enrolls some 350 master's and doctoral degree candidates, along with approximately 380 undergraduates. Our students provide care in more than 100 clinical settings, including Boston's world-renowned hospitals. We would sincerely appreciate your insights or recommendations during the course of our search, and welcome your referrals of exceptional nursing scholars and leaders who might be particularly suited to serve as Associate Dean of Graduate Programs at the Connell School.
