Boston College

Dear Members of the Boston College Community:

Boston College will officially begin celebration of its 150th anniversary with a special Mass at Fenway Park in Boston on Saturday, September 15, at 4:00 p.m. I write now to invite you to participate in this event, along with Boston College students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and their families.

This Mass, which will be concelebrated by members of the Society of Jesus, alumni priests, and other clergy in the Boston College community, will be an appropriate way to start our Sesquicentennial and to celebrate the heritage of Boston College since its founding in 1863. A reception, which will include an opportunity to walk along the perimeter of the Fenway field, will follow Mass.

Please click here to register today. Although there is no fee required to attend, registration is required for admittance. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

I look forward to being with you on September 15 at Fenway Park when Boston College formally launches its Sesquicentennial Celebration.

Sincerely,

William P. Leahy, S.J.
President
