BC Student Affairs | Parent Update

Dear Boston College Parents:

Fall semester is a few weeks away, and the campus is already humming with activity as we get ready for our students’ late-August arrival. Parent Update aims to keep you informed, and this edition features a roundup of essential dates to remember—from move-in day to Parents’ Weekend. It also highlights some September events your student won’t want to miss, including the annual Student Involvement Fair on September 1, and the September 12 Fall Career and Internship Fair—an annual tradition that drew nearly 2,000 undergraduates last year. Our lead story provides details of that event and other on-campus employer recruitment opportunities your son or daughter should prepare for.

Wishing you and your family a restful and safe late summer.
Sincerely,
Barbara Jones, Ph.D., Vice President for Student Affairs

Recruiters on the Heights: Be prepared

But in order to take advantage of these opportunities, says Du Pont, students have to prepare. Read more about career planningยป
