Words’ worth

Published: May 2010

Twenty-three student poets from as many colleges and universities took part in the Greater Boston Intercollegiate Poetry Festival held on April 22 at Boston College. Selected by their professors, each read an original poem or two before a full house in the Murray Room. Boston College has hosted the festival, organized by English professor and poet Suzanne Matson, for the past five years. The keynote speaker this year was Kevin Young, poet and Haygood Professor of English and Creative Writing at Emory University.
