Welcome Wagon

Published: September 2009

At 7 a.m. on September 2, a small army of student volunteers gathered on Boston College’s Upper and Newton campuses to greet arriving freshmen. Equipped with snacks, dollies, strong backs, and humor, the 250 upperclassmen moved some 2,000 members of the Class of 2013 into their new lodgings over two days. The Office of Residential Life sponsors the annual service, organized this year by assistant director Monica St. Louis and Jacquelyn Burke ’11.

@BC presents an audio slideshow of images and sounds gathered during the August 30 training session for volunteers, and the September 2 moving day.
