I am concerned with educational and pastoral issues in the Church from a practical, theological perspective. My most recent writings propose an intercultural pedagogy to teach theology and religious education. Through my research, I seek to provide adequate categories to articulate that process and to help prepare Church leaders to meet the challenges, present and future, of serving in culturally diverse contexts. My academic activities both inform, and benefit from, my role as director of graduate programs in Hispanic Ministry.
