The Heights below

At the far left of this 1934 aerial is the cloister walk behind St. Mary's Hall, BC's principle Jesuit residence, where priests could read their breviaries, a set of prayers for various times of the day. The cloister walk, which was rarely used according to reports, was removed in 1981 when a garage was built to house residents' cars.
