More than 2,200 members of the Class of 2010 processed down the stairs next to Higgins Hall on their way to Conte Forum to hear Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.) address the annual First Year Academic Convocation. The event, also attended by some 2,000 members of the University community, began at Linden Lane where freshmen gathered after a barbeque in their honor.
