Remembering Kia

Published: June 2004

Soon after Kia Rozier, 22, died in October 2003, teachers, friends, and fellow members of the Boston College Symphony Orchestra began to plan a memorial concert. That concert was performed on April 4, 2004, near to the date of the recital that Ms. Rozier would have given as a graduating music major.

Featuring interviews with students and faculty, music from the memorial concert, and a ceremony for her family at the 2004 Arts and Sciences Commencement in Conte Forum, “Remembering Kia” offers a tribute to a passionate, funny, wise, and talented young woman who, as Dean Joseph Quinn remarked, will be remembered “always and forever” by those who knew her at Boston College.
