One current and three former Boston College students are in Beijing to compete in the Summer Olympic Games or the Paralympic Games. Charlie Davies is one of four forwards on the U.S. soccer team. He was a member of the Boston College soccer team from 2004–06, and in 2006 he won All-American honors and was ACC Offensive Player of the Year.

Paul Moran ’90 was introduced to wheelchair tennis in 1992 and is a championship competitor in both wheelchair softball and tennis.
