Students with Father Leahy

On October 25, University President William P. Leahy, SJ, was one of some 100 guests attending an open house in the newest residence hall at 110 St. Thomas More Road. Andrew Armstrong ’05, Matthew Blattner ’05, and Steve Cote ’05 (left to right, with Fr. Leahy) and their suitemates issued the invitation because, said Armstrong, “our new rooms are so nice, we were proud of the way we had set them up, and we wanted to thank some of the people that had helped us at BC.” The fifth-floor suite provides views of Commonwealth Avenue and Gasson Hall and is decorated with Red Sox memorabilia, cityscapes of Paris, and Armstrong’s wine collection. The six-story residence hall across from St. Ignatius Church opened this fall, and houses some 300 male and female students, along with resident assistants and a residence minister.
