Procession

In the early morning of May 23, prior to the University’s 129th commencement exercises, the Class of 2005 gathered in front of Gasson Hall to prepare for their final walk through campus as students. More than 2,000 members of the class processed past the academic buildings on Middle Campus, through Lower Campus, and into Alumni Stadium, where thousands of parents, friends, faculty, and administrators awaited to welcome them to the commencement ceremonies. In all, 3,300 men and women, including graduate and professional students, received diplomas. Read about the ceremony in Boston College Chronicle, view the commencement video, and learn how diplomas are created in Boston College Magazine.
