Campus tour

For the first time since they were installed 70 years ago, some 300 stained glass panels in Bapst Library’s Gargan Hall are being fully restored. While work continues on the windows, the library’s bookcases and tables are protected with plastic sheets and drop cloths. Technicians will remove, clean, and reassemble more than 20,000 individual pieces of glass. For more on the restoration process and a guide to Bapst’s windows, see “Clean slate” in Boston College Magazine.
