Flautist Kay Ragsdale

Laying out her instruments in Gasson 100 on January 31, the flautist Kay Ragsdale prepares to deliver a lecture on “Flutes of the World,” part of the music department’s free “Music in the Afternoon” series. Ragsdale’s collection of 50 instruments includes a Chinese dizi, Indian bansuri, Yugoslavian double flute, Pacific nose flute, Native American flutes, and pan pipes from Europe and South America.
