Findings

Published: February 2011

On the afternoon of February 4 in Fulton Hall, students presented their independent projects to faculty, staff, and friends at the annual Undergraduate Research Symposium. In poster sessions and panel discussions they detailed their investigations into subjects ranging from watershed management in the developing world (Keegan Dougherty ’12) to school district budget building (Alex Macheras ’13) to the growth of commercial courts in Russia and Ukraine (Olena Savytska ’12). Many had received Boston College advanced study grants or had seen their work published in the University’s undergraduate research journals—Al-Noor, Elements, Ethos, and Dialogue. @BC presents a sampling.
