A Boston College Minute: The Screaming Eagles Marching Band in training, Alumni Stadium, August 29, 2012.

Every August, 180 or so members of the Boston College Screaming Eagles Marching Band descend on the Heights for a 12-day, eight-hours-a-day band camp to learn the music and choreography for the coming football season. They are coached by David Healey ’90.

Note: When rehearsing steps, most musicians only pretend to play their instruments. Some, however, do hum.
