On February 16, Jen Gartner ’05 (left), Mairin Lee ’07, and director Scott Cummings, an associate professor in the theater department, rehearse a scene from Swimming After Dark, by Emily Dendinger ’05. The play, along with senior Richard Lawson’s Zoë, premiered in a production titled “New Voices: An Evening of Original Work.” The program, says Cummings, is part of a renewed commitment on the part of the theater department and Robsham Theater to develop and present student work. “New Voices” opened at the Robsham Theater on February 23 and runs through February 27.
