He was so negative on such an otherwise uplifting day. To say the things he said about Roger Clemens and Woody Allen and Thomas Jefferson… very unnecessary and mean spirited. My son (the graduate) said his friends agreed. Burns is a gifted historian and documentarian but I felt he was awful at the 2009 BC graduation.
