On August 4 in Gasson 100, Emmy Rozanski, 20, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, listens to John Faieta, a trombonist with the Atlantic Brass Quintet, during the 2005 International Brass Quintet Summer Seminar hosted by the Boston College Bands Program. The two-week seminar was developed for young brass players interested in performing in chamber music ensembles. In addition to coaching sessions, master classes, and private instruction, students participate in performance rehearsals and critique sessions. Seminar faculty members include musicians from the Atlantic Brass Quintet and the Triton Brass Quintet, and Sebastian Bonauito, director of Boston College Bands.
