On April 21, to students and campus visitors in McGuinn Hall, as part of a series of events celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (APAHM) at Boston College. Chiu, a teacher in the modern languages department at Boston Latin School, began the evening with a lecture and presentation on the history of Chinese painting, then moved on to a demonstration of the techniques and materials unique to the art form. The event was cosponsored by the APAHM Committee and Chinese Students Association.
