While an average week sees a few hundred people taking advantage of admission tours, the four-day period from April 18 to 21, when many high schools are closed for spring break, saw 3,500 campus visitors, including this group walking along Linden Lane on April 20. Guides provide an overview of the University’s history, curriculum, mission, and architecture as they lead groups through and around Middle Campus’s main buildings—Devlin, Gasson, St. Mary’s, Higgins, Fulton, and the Bapst and O’Neill libraries. The office also offers hour-long Eagle Eye sessions, where high school students and their parents can question a panel of BC students. This year, the University received an unprecedented number of applications for undergraduate admission, some 26,500 for the Class of 2010.
