The Boston College community extends far beyond the Heights. So, in honor of the University’s 150th anniversary, the Sesquicentennial on the Road has visited seven cities to celebrate our heritage and bring together alumni, parents, families, and friends as “men and women for others.”

Our 150 on the Road journey was so well received by BC alumni, parents, and friends around the world that we decided the show must go on. In the coming year, we'll be bringing the service projects to more cities, including Philadelphia and Washington, DC. Please stay tuned for more information.

225 Eagles for Others gathered to celebrate

BC's 150th anniversary on Saturday, Feb. 9.

Together, we packed 35,436 meals for hungry families!

225 LA volunteers worked with BC alumni, parents, families, and friends in a service project to fight hunger. Our Eagles for Others packed an astounding 35,436 meals toward our combined goal of 150,000 meals. Learn more about the Helping Hands service project.

In honor of Boston College’s 150th anniversary, Dean of the College and Graduate School of Arts and Sciences David Quigley discussed the significant historical events of 1863, the year of BC’s founding.

On Saturday, Feb. 23, nearly 200 Eagles who call the Magic City home

came together to pack meals for hungry families in honor of BC's 150th anniversary.

Together, we packed 30,240 meals for hungry families!

189 Miami volunteers worked with BC alumni, parents, families, and friends in a service project to fight hunger. Our Eagles for Others packed an astounding 30,240 meals toward our combined goal of 150,000 meals. Learn more about the Helping Hands service project.

on BC’s National Day of Service.

Originally founded to educate the sons of Irish emigrants in Boston,

Boston College’s roots have long been tied to Ireland. Many students, alumni, parents, and friends joined us in Dublin to celebrate BC’s Sesquicentennial.
