As you can imagine, the breadth and diversity of the graduate alumni population is exceptional. This newsletter will serve to keep you connected to Boston College and your own particular School/Program, as well as to invite you to attend special events geared toward stimulating and engaging graduate alumni on intellectual and social levels.

New International PhD in Social Welfare Program Established at GSSW

As GSSW marks its 75th Anniversary it will establish an International PhD in Social Welfare Program. Through this doctoral program, Boston College will form partnerships and exchanges with Jesuit, Catholic universities worldwide to advance and professionalize the field of social welfare.

Fr. Woods to Step Down as Dean of WCAS

At the age of 80 and after 44 years in the job, Fr. James Woods, S.J., will retire after a successor is named. Help promote the community of WCAS alumni by becoming involved in the Woods College Alumni Association which meets monthly, September to May.
