Wangtui jixiongbian 妄推吉凶辯.
By Nan Huairen 南懷仁 (Ferdinand Verbiest).
One juan, incomplete. Bamboo paper. Published in 1669 (Kangxi 8). No place of publication.

The cover of the book bears the Latin title: “Discussio contra vanitatem | divinationis | P. Verbiest.”
The table of contents consist of two and one-half folios. At the end of the book the date (1669) and the name of the author are given: 康熙八年己酉仲夏上浣,治理曆法遠西南懷仁識. There are nine columns in each half folio with twenty characters to each column. There are subject headings on the top margins. The title of the book is given in the middle of each folio and the number of the folio below the fish-tail.
This copy is incomplete; only twenty-four folios are left. Judging from the table of contents, less than half of the text is preserved. The book contains a refutation of divination and geomancy as explained by Yang Guangxian and his followers.
