Typescript notes for an autobiographic lecture given in March 1933 at the Xuanhua 宣化 (Suanhua) seminary. Fr. Lebbe had been invited by Pierre Tch'eng. The lecture was cut short by some kind of throat issue. The text was written by the Xuanhua seminarians, not by Lebbe. Our copy was made on September 22, 1952 in Mazy in Belgium when Fr. Albert Chao was passing through, bringing a version with him. The original was in Chinese, our copy being a French translation. --- Accompanying notes
