Xinjuan Huang Weizhang xiansheng Shijing langhuan jizhu 新鐫黃維章先生詩經嫏嬛集註.
Compiled by Huang Wenhuan 黃文煥.
Eight juan. Bamboo paper in three ce bound in one volume, European style. The title page and the preface are missing.

The book is divided into two sections. The top section consists of commentaries on the Shijing by different scholars, compiled by Huang Wenhuan. The lower section consists of commentaries by Zhu Xi. Folio 1 of each ce gives the title of the book and the name of the author: 永福黃文煥維章父著. The top section of each folio gives the title of the book and the number of the folio; the lower section gives the title of the Ode.
The present book of Huang Wenhuan is fully annotated. There is a general introduction to each type of Ode, followed by a summary of each chapter and a general idea of each Ode. At the end full commentaries by diverse scholars are given.
Huang wrote another book on the Shijing which he called Shijing kao (A study on the Shijing) in eighteen juan, see SKTY 1:348. His other writings recorded in the Sikutiyao are: Taoshi xiyi 陶詩析義 in two juan (4:3729), Chuci tingzhi 楚辭聽直 in eight juan, Helun 合論 in one juan (4:3097), and Zheliuji 赭留集, a collection of his poems and prose in one juan, which he composed while in prison (4:3973).
Huang Wenhuan (zi 維章), a native of Yongfu 永福 (Fujian), obtained the jinshi degree in 1625 (Tianqi 5). In the middle of the Chongzhen reign he was promoted to the Hanlin academy. Later he was involved in a faction struggle and was cast into the imperial prison but he was released some time later. He remained in Nanjing until his death.

The Naikaku Bunko owns a Ming edition (eight juan, four ce) of this book and three copies (Ming editions) of Huang’s Shijing kao, collated by Huang Jing-fang 黃景昉 and others (NBC, p. 11).
