"Of the six stories in this vol., The perfect lady by mistake, and three other stories, are translated from the collection entitled Xingshi hengyan; the Li Bai is from Jingshi tongyan, and Yang Jiao is from Yushi mingyan. All three collections, commonly called "Sanyan," were edited and amplified by Feng Menglong."
